This senior year school project is to provide a playful, comfortable, joyful environment for abandoned cats. The window display will increase the adoption rate and attract more people to this animal shelter located in Hawthorne, CA. It will also help out branding and make the site visible from the existing neighborhood.
The window display will allow people to see the cats in the animal shelter from the street. It is anticipated that this visual interaction will enhance the adoption rate since the cats can be checked out without the need to walk inside.
This is a live interactive display as there are sensor LED lights under the sitting panels. When the cats swing the doors, the lights will automatically be activate in the dark. It is fun for the cats, but also as a neighborhood interactive element. It can increase visibility and awareness for the adoption center and improve the existing environment.
